Inera's unique eXtyles refXpress technology enables scholarly publishers to automate parsing and editing of reference lists. Designed for use on high-performance servers with current content or back-content archives, refXpress automatically turns unstructured Word or XML reference lists into parsed references linked to online databases such as PubMed and CrossRef.
Unlike simpler pattern-based solutions, where reference input must adhere precisely to a publication style and custom setup is required for each style used, eXtyles refXpress heuristic-based processing can parse references in an unlimited number of styles without pre-configuration. In addition, the highly accurate parsing can be used to automatically reformat references to a specific editorial style, significantly reducing editorial time and increasing the accuracy of published references.
